As strategy lead, I helped RØDE build relevance with emerging filmmakers by tapping into a clear insight: film students are deeply committed to their craft, but struggle for industry access and opportunities. Master Your Craft positioned RØDE as a brand that champions young filmmakers from their first project through to their professional break.

We developed a content-rich campaign led by award-winning mentors, with practical tips, creative inspiration and face-to-camera guidance delivered in the audience’s native channel — Instagram Stories. Supported by outreach to leading film schools worldwide, the campaign invited students to pitch for a paid year-long industry internship.

The result was RØDE’s most successful student push to date: entries up 473% YoY, CTR 66% stronger than industry average, more than 6.5M relevant impressions, and over 300 high-quality global submissions, exceeding targets by 50%.
